Filming

We're off to London tomorrow to film the.. London scene.. obviously.

We have given Rosie the lyrics to learn so she can convincingly lip sync them. She'll be wearing her Alice in Wonderland jumper, unveiling her new hair do and just being generally fabulous.

SLOWLY GETTING THERE.

Here is a random picture of London.

Vlog!!

Here's a blog from Athena and I detailing what we will be doing. We're hoping to finish all of the filming in a week, because after sitting down and talking about it, it's becoming increasingly likely that we can do this in minimal time.

The Vlog:

Here's what we're talking about in written format:

In terms of the argument, this is what I was talking about.. Minus the singing in between and the shouting will be directed at Rosie/Eliza:

Rosie

One of the main reasons we haven't been filming much recently is because we have reached a predicament.
Our actress' hair is no longer like so:

Rosie has re-dyed her hair blonde, so no cool roots, and she has a bob and a full fringe.
At first we were like "OMG, it looks great!!" and then we were all "OMG media?!?!"

But Alice to the rescue.. I asked the group if they would consider the following idea, which, they have agreed to. To be perfectly honest, there isn't actually an alternative so they HAD to go with it. But still.

In every single scene Rosie appears in, she's going to have different colours/styles in her hair. She has some crazy semi-permanent colours that I will blow-dry into her hair and we're going to do loads of crazy things with the style; plaits, ponytails, half up, half down, etc.

In addition to taking inspiration from Alice in Wonderland, Eliza will also be part Ramona Flowers from 'Scott Pilgrim vs. the World', who changed her hair colour every week and a half. I think this captures how 'cray cray' our character is.

As you can see, in the film she has pink hair, then changes it to blue, then green.
We gonna try and do streaks of this crazy colour, not all over, and not just keep it to one style like Miss Flowers.

Filming..

After a patch of not filming, we are starting to home in on getting the footage we need.

To film:

Dinner scene - Eliza amongst her family, showing how different she is.
London scene - Eliza walking through a busy London street at night, possibly Oxford Street, to show she stands out from everyone, not just her family. (Lip syncing will occur here)
Running scene - the penultimate scene where she runs through Hilly Fields/Forty Hall, which is where Athena, Lucy and I run with her and take her to the....
Colour scene - The part at the end where Eliza is at one with fellow weirdos, to put it plainly.
